Table games at Betgorillas
Table games are the classics — roulette, blackjack, baccarat and casino poker — in software form, played against a random number generator at your own pace. They are simpler to follow than many slots and have a long tradition, but each game has rules that change the house edge, and those rules are worth knowing.
Roulette
European roulette has a single zero; American roulette adds a double zero, which increases the house edge. Bets range from single numbers to red or black and odd or even. No betting system changes the edge: every spin is independent, and progressive systems only change how quickly a budget is spent.
Blackjack in short
The goal is to beat the dealer's hand without going over 21. Rules vary — how many decks, whether the dealer hits soft 17, what blackjack pays — and they matter. A table paying 3:2 for blackjack is better for the player than one paying 6:5. Basic strategy, a table of optimal decisions for every hand, reduces the house edge considerably compared with playing by instinct.
Baccarat and poker
Baccarat involves no decisions after the bet: you back the player, the banker or a tie. The banker bet usually carries a commission. Casino poker variants such as three card poker or casino hold'em are played against the dealer, not other players, with a paytable for strong hands.
House edge in plain terms
The house edge is the share of each bet the casino keeps on average over the long run. It differs between games and between bets within a game: in baccarat the tie bet costs far more than the banker bet, and in roulette single-zero wheels cost less than double-zero ones. You cannot avoid the edge, but you can avoid the most expensive bets once you know where they are.
Table limits and choosing a table
Each table shows minimum and maximum bets. Choose limits that let your budget last a reasonable number of rounds, and read the rules panel to confirm the variant. Small rule differences add up over time.
Table games and bonuses
Table games often contribute only a small percentage to bonus wagering or are excluded altogether, because their house edge is low. If you prefer tables, a bonus may keep your balance locked far longer than it would for a slot player. Our wagering guide shows the effect.
Playing responsibly
Strategy reduces the edge but never removes it. Set a budget, stop at a planned point and withdraw winnings rather than pushing a good run.
